How Can I Help?

The following are some ways that YOU can be a part of               Project A 1:8 and taking the Gospel around the world.                     Seek God about how you can help!

Partner with Project A 1:8

Become a partner with Project A 1:8 and help support missions work around the world.  Make a contribution of $18 per month that will help not only Uganda, but missions work on nearly every continent.  This can be paid by mailing a check to Project A 1:8, Church of the Heartland, 705 E. Jefferson St., Plymouth, IN 46563.

All checks should be payable to Project A 1:8.

Adopt A Child

Caring for orphans is a mandate from God.  Uganda has an estimated                2, 500,000 orphans.  Grace Children’s Home Sponsorship Uganda was birthed from a compassion to reach out to orphaned and abandoned children.  These young ones are being rescued from hopelessness and adopted into a loving, nurturing family.

For more information about adopting a child, see the “Sponsor A Child” page.

Give A One-Time Gift

You can give to Project A 1:8 though a one-time gift in the amount of your choice.   You could give to Project A 1:8 and missions around the world or designate your gift to one of the many projects already in the works, including the following:

  • a tilapia farm in Uganda that would provide food for the children in the children’s home and eventually generate an income for Grace International Ministries Uganda
  • Grace Bible College of Uganda, which is training and equipping pastors and leaders who minister all over the nation
  • the long-term goal of purchasing a school where our children will attend

You could also give a one-time gift designated to an A 1:8 ministry of your choice.

This gift can be paid by mailing a check to Project A 1:8, Church of the Heartland, 705 E. Jefferson St., Plymouth, IN 46563.

All checks should be payable to Project A 1:8.  In the notes space of your check, designate where you would like your gift to be used.

Pray about Going on a Mission Trip

In June 2010 (approximate dates June 14-28th), we will take another trip to Uganda.  The focus of the trip will be leadership training, pastors and leaders conferences, ministry to married couples, and children’s and youth camps.   The approximate cost is $2800.  Expect a $1000 down payment to be due in early January.  Start praying today about whether God wants YOU in Uganda next year, and start saving now if you feel that God is calling you to be on this trip.  Don’t underestimate the importance of seeking God about this big decision!
