An update on our new kids

March 18, 2009
We greet you in Jesus’ name. Thanks for the work you are doing for God’s Kingdom.

CHILDREN
We got all children with the help of the village chairman local council (LC 1)
All the children were not christians.  Two where Moslems, but we ministerd to them Gods word and they all accepted  Christ as their personal saviour.
We have tought them how to pray for many things i.e praying for food, knowledge, provision, their sponsors, COTH Folks and their lives.

BEHAVIOUR
Some children came with bad habits like fighting, not sharing with others, selfishness and  not friendly. But after praying with them and teaching them God’s word and good manners, has created big improvement.
After two days of recieving them, one of the children got a simple fracture on his arm, and he his doing great after taking him to hospital. Another one cut himself when trying to cut his finger nails so the finger got swollen ,but with God’s grace his also fine.  Some children came when they were not getting enough ratio of food, so they could wake up at night and eat waste food from the trushcans and others could snatch their friends food when they finish faster than others eating slow. But its good that they have all copped up with our system and they  no longer have bad harbits.

HIV/Aids
With the help of miss Mayi coming home to test our childen on HIV/Aids status, they all tested NEGATIVE. Praise be to God!!!

CLOTHS
Some of them came without clothing, so   Gloria and  Najja Ephrahim became a blessing to them by making  provision  of their clothes to them, plus the school unforms recieve from their school.

SCHOOL FEES and NEEDS
We love to pass a vote of thanks for the school fees that was paid for this term (Feb-April) and some food that last  for a month And the ten matresses and blankets that were bought.

In all we praise God that the young ones are sleeping and eating from their newly built house. We would have  send the pictures, but we did not know how to attach the pictures and the Biograph of the children but at last we have succeeded and we are soon sending them. God bless you and more prayers. Keep in contact.
